Trung Nguyen Coffee House |
Along Cau Go Street, there is a Trung Nguyen coffee house. Do you know that Trung Nguyen coffee is Vietnam top and finest home brand? Well, we did not actually. In fact, there were many cafes around in the
Old Quarter.

The counter where the staff prepare your coffee |
We are not coffee addict but we make it a point to try all the local stuff including the famous Vietnamese coffee. I need to confess that I am in love with Trung Nguyen coffee now.
|
The glass of Passiona with low caffeine |
Trung Nguyen coffee is so smooth and aromatic, nothing like Nescafe. Once you tried Trung Nguyen, you will forget about Nescafe. We tried their Mocha and Passiona. Passiona has low caffeine but without going through decaffeination process. The reason is it uses the blend of Chari (Excelsa) beans (a rare and difficult to grow coffee bean that contains very little caffeine) and fine Arabica beans. Passiona is also enriched with pure vegetable collagen who is good for skin (Source: www.trung-nguyen-online.com). The sales personnel told us that Passiona is a favourite among Vietnamese ladies.

Mocha with a lovely heart-shaped foam |
We are also a fan of Mocha. Their Mocha is smooth and enhanced with cocoa flavour. It has a beautiful layer of foam.

Some of the Trung Nguyen coffee that we bought |
Well, after enjoying our coffee here, we bought Trung Nguyen's G7, Passiona, Cappucino Mocha and Sang Tao 8. Sang Tao 8 is the most expensive of all. It is actually Legendee Gold which is a uniquely ezymatically-treated coffee (from Excelsa and Arabica beans) and regarded as the world's most successful coffee with the balance and flavour of famous Kopi Luwak (Source: www.trung-nguyen-online.com).

After our coffee break, we went to watch water puppet show at
Thanglong Water Puppet Theatre.
